Official Gambling Preview Colts-Panthers

The Indianapolis Colts take on the Carolina Panthers on MNF. Carolina is a (-6) point favorite with a total of 46. The total is the same as the sportsbook opener though the point spread has dropped a half-point.

The Panthers have gotten 63 percent of wagers placed offshore and in Vegas with 65 percent on the over. Indianapolis enters with a disappointing 2-5 against the spread mark, going under 4-3 overall, yet over 2-of-3 road games. The Panthers are 5-1 to the number, going over 3-2-1.  andrew luck

The Colts are getting .2 yards per rushing attempt more than their opponents normally allow but using the same metric they get .4 less passing yards per attempt. Defensively they allow teams to exceed their normal rushing yards per attempt by .1 and passing yards per attempt by .5. They allow 6.0 yards per play versus teams normally getting 5.7.

The Panthers average 4.4 yards per rush to teams normally permitting 4.0, but get only 6.6 yards per throw to teams normally allowing 7.0 and 5.5 yards per play to 5.7. Carolina allows teams to run the ball giving up 4.3 yards per rush to teams averaging 4.1, but a measly 5.4 passing yards per attempt to 6.7 amounting to holding foes to .6 yards per play below their normal average.

Ever since CMU on Christmas Eve ended our bad beatpalooza last year, Joe Duffy’s Picks has been punishing the books. Just the recent run is 22-10 in football. But it is even better overall at 35-15 in all sports with sundry moneyline underdogs both among winners such as Royals last night and juice free rare losers.

MNF side as we will hint that you have won with this key metric many times before. Three NBA, two Wise Guy sides and a Major NBA total. Tough choice: Do you raise the bar higher than you ever have before or just remain on the outside looking in? Win at OffshoreInsiders.com

Spread trends (all records against the spread): Indianapolis 10-3 after accumulating less than 90 yards rushing in their previous game, 12-5 grass, 23-9 after accumulating more than 250 yards passing in their previous game. Carolina 20-8 to teams with a losing record.

Over/under angles: Indianapolis under 10-4 overall, over 13-6 road. Carolina under 21-10 grass.
