The game is close to a pick as depending on the sportsbook either team is a modest favorite. The total is 6.5 across the board with -125 on the under and just -105 juice on the over.

The Giants are 96-76 on the season for +16 units. They have been kindest to backers on the road at 47-39 for +13.1 units. They are 65-46 to right-handed starters +15 units. San Francisco has gone over 18-5 as playoff favorites.

Madison Bumgarner has compelling splits with a .306 OBP against at home, but he is on the road now where it’s just .257. His road ERA is 2.22 compared to 4.03 at home. James Shields also is better on the road most notably when it comes to ERA though it is true with almost all metrics. His road ERA is 3.13 but he is pitching at home where it is 3.64.
