NBA Best Bets Atlanta Hawks vs. Portland Trail Blazers

Joe Duffy’s Picks just wins. Another winning night last night, led by an NBA sweep, puts us at 57-32 just with premium picks, though our scores and odds mastery with free picks has added to your winnings.

We have a free pick NBA on:

PORTLAND -8.5 Atlanta

Ravaged by injuries, the Hawks are not even competitive at 1-10-1 their last 12 against the spread. Four times in the last nine games they failed by at least eight points against the spread, three times by at least 13.5.

Despite not exactly getting a ton of support at home, the Hawks have pretty compelling home/road splits. This season, the home team is 37-22 against the spread in their games. In the midst of a very difficult road trip, they have a seven game straight up skid away from home, 0-6-1 to the number. This is the first of four tough road games in six days, following just two days of rest off a game against Phoenix.

On the other hand, Portland had a day off in the fourth game of a four-game home stand. They will have a bit of a chip on their shoulder off a home loss to the Lakers.

With there being a chance that Paul Millsap could return and give Atlanta a much-needed lift, we did not release this as a premium play. However, the fact is they were struggling with him anyway. So it is either a strong bet or a very strong bet to fade them tonight. default

Joe Duffy’s Picks Portland -8.5.

And yet another winning night from Mr. March. We are 57-32 overall, but going back even further, we are 54-27 in college basketball. All quoted records are premium plays only, though of course even our free play won yet again yesterday. That is how we roll at Joe Duffy’s Picks.

Tonight we have a college basketball Wise Guy and an NBA moneyline underdog amoung four winners. Oh, the moneyline underdog angle is 21-3 straight up this season and again it favors a puppy. In fact, we will tell you it is a Dandy Dog! A Dandy Dog is moneyline underdog of 140 or more.  Get the loaded portfolio at
