Free Football Picks Colorado vs. Arizona

The wunderkinds at the Canadian Crew preview a big game from the standpoint of the bettor.

Colorado Buffaloes (1-8, 1-8 ATS) vs Arizona Wildcats (5-4, 5-4 ATS)

Odds: Arizona -29

The Colorado Buffaloes are rapidly approaching the end of what’s likely to be their worst season ever. With just a single win under their belts and a series of jaw dropping losses, they’re facing off against the Arizona Wildcats today in Tucson. It’s not a situation that bodes well for the Buffs, but Colorado offers tremendous value to the betting public.

The betting videos oddsmakers want banned say that it seems like the only opponent Colorado has any edge at all over this season are those long suffering Las Vegas oddsmakers. The casino number crunchers have been unable to set a line so high that the Buffaloes can’t accommodate it. Throw in the fact that they’re not particularly popular on a national level, and they become a very attractive team to bet against week after week.

Colorado has just two problems this week, and every week; they have no offensive power and they no defensive power. Simply look to the fact that they’ve been outscored 261-51 over their last five games and you get an idea of what a train wreck they’ve become.

Arizona, on the other hand, is actually on the rise in the PAC-12. Just two weeks back they upset then-#9 USC 39-36, despite a tremendous offensive performance from the Trojans. They fell back to earth last week, losing 66-10 to UCLA. We expect letdowns from teams like the Wildcats after big wins, but we’re not expecting that this week.

On every front, U of A outclasses and outplays the Buffs. They’re averaging 500 offensive yards a game, Colorado averages 293. The Buffaloes are scoring around 16 points a game, Arizona is scoring closer to 29. The list goes on and on.

Twenty nine points is a huge line in normal circumstances but this year’s Buffalo stampede is anything but normal. Feel free to bet against CU every week and watch the profits build.
