Handicapper Matt Rivers Lock on Phillies vs. Brewers

Senior Handicapper Matt Rivers of OffshoreInsiders.com has a free pick on the Philadelphia Phillies plus the number to Milwaukee.

Reasoning: I think that Mike Fiers is a legitimate pitcher and certainly much better than that awful last start in Coors which happened to be the righties only poor start. Fiers has been a total house on fire in his short big league career showing signs of being really really good, if not great. So I do expect a better outing today but Cole Hamels good? I think not!

Philadelphia has a guy in Hamels on the bump tonight who has been ridiculously great and almost unhittable in each of his last two outings. The lefty has great stuff and in those starts showed just that and if you go back to his last 10 starts he has only allowed eight runs total. The new contract has not affected Hamels negatively in the slightest and if anything made him even better.

Both teams are terrible and underachieving to the max but with more innings on Fiers arm than he is used to and with Hamels being as lights out as he has been I’ll back Charlie Manual’s club and take my chances.

For more information: A solid winning Friday as the 400,000* on the Marlins plus around 125 cashed that ticket. I am not one of those guys who likes to play a ton of games. Normally the more you play the less of a chance you have to win. But today’s slate is very solid and includes the second highest rated play in my arsenal, a 400,000* release with the Jets and Giants. Bonus 300,000* Phillies-Brewers along with both games from Miller Park involving the Cubs and Reds, at 200,000* each. Here we go again baby! Click now to access Matt Rivers card
