The real Matt Rivers free sports picks on Twitter selection for Tuesday is on the Chicago Cubs.

Call me stubborn and call this more of a principle type of a play but I’m grabbing this too high price on the Cubs and rolling with it.

I can’t like tonight’s visitors from Wrigley overall as they are fairly terrible and lacking in talent. Plus Travis Wood has not been the same guy who made a splash early on in that rookie season with the Reds. But with that said I do not at all ever trust Jake Peavy, even if he has been very good at times this season, and the White Sox are not a high quality team and are starting to show it after the red hot last little bit.

Peavy is always one pitch away from getting injured and the “good guys” are the perfect team to fade when they are giving a lot.

Hopefully Castro or Soriano or LaHair can go deep because the Cubbies aren’t very good and are not exactly a well oiled machine. But in the end Robin Ventura’s Sox laying this much is just too much.

Rivers pick: Chicago Cubs

Now to GodsTips, anchor of OffshoreInsiders.com

CINCINNATI (LEAK -105) Cleveland (Tomlin)

Going against AL teams averaging 4.7 or fewer runs per game off a loss in which they allowed nine or more runs is 736-405, +96.9 units.

The Reds have won 6-of-7 hitting .320 with an OBP .382. Cleveland is 2-5 their last seven.  They are hitting just .249 at home all season and that’s with the DH. In his last three starts, Josh Tomlin has an ERA of 6.88 and WHIP 1.882. The NL Central-leading Reds have won eight of 12 on the road overall. Since 1997, Cleveland is 48-71 (-42.0 Units) against the money line against an NL team with an on base percentage .325 or worse.

The Reds are 13-3 to teams with a winning record. Cleveland is 3-13 when their opponent scores five runs or more in their previous game.

Today Matt Rivers has had 14 of 20 winning days and today it’s the biggest play over the past few months. This is also the second highest rated play in my arensal with a 400,000* Thunder-Heat along with a 300,000* Orioles-Mets. Can Durant, Westbrook and the visitors from OKC play better and even this series up? Or is Lebron done wetting the bed in big spots and ready to roll to a title? EZ! Two plays and a ton of more profit! Rivers picks are up right now.
