Heat vs. Thunder Game 2 Odds and Prop Bets; Free Sports Pick

OffshoreInsiders.com handicapper, the real Matt Rivers has a winner on the Detroit Tigers (-1.5) to the Chicago Cubs.

Reasoning: The slate isn’t great and laying chalk on the road is never the key to that mint but Justin Verlander is awesome and light years better than Travis Wood so I’ll lay that extra run and expect a somewhat going away Detroit victory.

Wood came up with a bang a few seasons back with the Reds and looked to be a kid with a bright future. He still may be that but the lefty never seemed to regain that early level and now is on a Cubs club that is rather terrible and that is being kind. Starlin Castro has a lot of potential but besides that the northsiders are a mess and quite possibly the worst team there is in the game today.

I don’t love Jim Leyland’s Tigers, never have and probably never will. But with Verlander on the hill to go along with Miguel Cabrera and Prince Fielder they are a great team. With other starters they are probably a .500 or so squad but in this combination Detroit is great. No, Verlander hasn’t been lights out of late but the righty has still thrown quality starts in 8 of his last 9 games and has that potential any time he takes the bump and especially up against this dreadful 21-40 Cubs’ squad.

This is far from the lock of my life but the Cy Young award winner should be just fine in a 5-2 type of a Tiger victory.

Top expert pick on this game: Detroit Tigers

Today’s best bet from Matt Rivers is I did it yet again yesterday with the 2-1 day adding up to over another 400,000* of profit as the 300,000* Mets and Yankees took care of business.

I want no part of the diamond today as the baseball slate is fairly disgusting and that is being kind. It’s not because the pitcher’s are of lower quality because at times I can find a ton of value with inferior talent but all in all there is just nothing at all out there on the diamond worth a you know what. But game two of the NBA Finals is a gem and one that I am going to bang home and do so with conviction. I’m talking outright or burial between the Heat and Thunder and that’s why it’s a raising of that bar 400,000* whopper. Can you say 13 of 16? I can and will!
