Free NBA Picks Start Final Four Weekend Off on Winning Banknotes

It’s Final Four betting weekend and start on out on the right banknote. We start out with a betting pick from The Duke, Victor Duke.

New York Knicks (+3’) for 2 Units **

Knicks/Hawks 7:35: The Knicks, which are flourishing since former Hawks’ mentor Woodson took over in command, are on a sizzling 9-1 ATS tear. We’ll stay on them here against the struggling Hawks.

The Hawks have lost two straight and should stay in the tank here; after all, they’ve gone a money burning 3-7 ATS after a double-digit loss at home. Hawks’ chemistry concerns are arising as uncertainty in team roles persist. On the other hand, the Knicks are chemistry driven as one player goes down another fills in without missing a beat. Despite the injuries (Lin, Stoudemire), the Knicks are getting solid work from Baron Davis, and Chandler remains a force inside the paint. Knicks’ bench production is also a plus as J.R. Smith and Novak bring energy and points to the floor.

New York sports a solid 7-1 ATS mark in Atlanta. They’re 5-0 ATS after scoring 100+ points. We’ll look for the Knicks to hang tough here.

The real Matt Rivers of check in with a free pick for Friday is on the Orlando Magic (-5.5) to Dallas.

Reasoning: Dwight Howard and the Magic were just thrashed and thoroughly embarrassed the other day by a banged up Knicks squad at the world’s most famous arena. The second and third quarters were complete and utter debacles and all in all Stan Van Gundy’s squad laid a big fat rotten egg.

The champion Mavericks come to the Magic Kingdom today after just running with the Heat last night in Miami and if this isn’t going to be a total motivational type of a game by the Magic then I don’t know what would be. I’m not saying that Orlando is great or even better than Dallas. But Dirk and the Mavs have struggled this season and have really never gotten into that championship form. There is talent and an upside with Nowitzki, Terry, Marion and others but the chemistry is not the same with a bad Lamar Odom around and guys like JJ Barea and Tyson Chandler gone. Now on this pretty darn difficult back-to-back I can see the Mavs run out of gas a little and get semi run out of the building by an Orlando team that can bury threes with the best of them and score points in bunches.

Orlando is not the most-trustworthy of teams but they are 32-19 which is very good no matter how you slice it. Howard is now locked up for the season and after that terrible last outing at Madison Square Garden and the defending champs in their building it’s a good spot to lay a little bit and back the big O at home.

Matt Rivers winner on this game: Orlando
