Auburn vs. Arkansas Sports Pick From Top NCAA Handicapper

Senior Handicapper Matt Rivers of has a free pick Saturday is on Auburn (-2.5) to Arkansas.

Reasoning: Arkansas was terrible against Florida two games ago and then the other night were completely outclassed at home against a half suspended Alabama squad. Certainly Billy Donovan’s Gators are tough and the Crimson Tide are a well coached team that has potential even shorthanded but the young Razorbacks are starting to lose it and right now I can’t see them having any success at all on the road against anybody.

Arkansas was undefeated at home before these last two games and looked like a force in Fayetteville. But we are really starting to see the youth of this team and the road, even against a mediocre at the very best Auburn, is going to prove to be a bit too much.

Arkansas-Auburn winner is within reach

The Tigers aren’t good but they are better than in previous seasons and after just competing very hard down in Gainesville and actually having a lead at the half against Florida should bode well today. Auburn has actually been pretty good at home this season and does have some talent with Gabriel, Sullivan and Texas transfer Varez Ward. The Tigers have won four of their last five at home including just knocking off a talented Mississippi State team as an underdog and downing Georgia, South Carolina and Mississippi. The lone loss came against big bad Kentucky and even that thing was a one-point game with about five minutes to play so these guys can play some pretty good ball in front of their home fans.

In the first meeting Auburn was a three pointer away at the buzzer from overtime and I just cannot see anything but a win and a cover here against a regressing and road challenged Arkansas squad.

The Razorbacks are 0-6 on the road in the SEC and in fact have not won a true road game all season long. They were just blown out in Knoxville by 19 points after falling in Athens against a very average Georgia team by 22. It would not surprise me at all if Mike Anderson’s squad completely goes into the tank and loses this thing going away!

Top expert pick on this game: Auburn

For more information: A loser on Loyola, Md. yesterday as it just wasn’t the right side in the end and I paid for it. I’m still well ahead of the game as evidenced by the 17 of 28 winning days, a 27-16-3 overall run in which my teams have covered by an amazing 86 points (yes, that includes the losses) and a profit margin of 2.65 million stars. I get back over that 3 million mark today and will do so with absolute ease, that you can take to the bank!

A trio of winners and all of them go in the daytime. 400,000* Maryland-Georgia Tech, 300,000* North Carolina-Virginia and a 200,000* Georgia State-William & Mary. Don’t just watch me go 3-0, be a part of it! Click now to purchase
