Free Sports Picks Wisconsin vs. Penn State

Senior Handicapper Matt Rivers of has a free pick for Tuesday is on Penn State (+8) to Wisconsin.

Reasoning: No doubt the Nittany Lions are the far inferior squad on the court today and have the potential to muster about 40 points in this thing against Bo Ryan’s defense. But with that said and even if the Badgers have started to play a lot better after that mid-season lull can a still somewhat offensively challenged Wisconsin team really be laying around double digits on the road in-conference like this?

Handicapper likes it when Mr. Bo jangles all those points

The Crispin brothers and Talor Battle and some others are long gone and Penn State certainly doesn’t have one of its better teams in the last little bit but the Nittany’s have been showing some potential every now and then and I can see them fight tooth and nail in yet another ridiculously low scoring Wisconsin Penn State doozy.

When these teams get together it’s as if the offense runs away and hides and in fact I think they played a 35-33 classic just a few seasons ago. Therefore to be able to get such a handsome number at home like this could definitely be worth its weight in gold. No doubt Jordan Taylor is great and could be the best player on the court but Tim Frazier isn’t exactly chopped liver and after winning two of their last four games at home and covering three of those I will take my chances backing this capable enough in-conference dog. It’s not like these teams don’t know each other fairly well and it’s not like they don’t regularly play tight ballgames.

Wisconsin should win their sixth straight but would you be at all surprised to see this thing come down to the wire in a 59-55 type of a deal, if not 49-45? I wouldn’t and therefore am just fine grabbing what I can.

Top expert pick on this game: Penn State from Matt Rivers

For more information: It’s five of seven winning days, an 8-2 run in which my teams have literally covered by 56 points and now a whopping 2.0 million stars of profit in the last week. I’m bombing away today from the Big 10 in this match-up involving Michigan State and Illinois. It’s an outright or a burial, period! Click now to purchase
