ESPN Missouri vs. Texas Betting Tips and Sports Handicapper Picks

Senior Handicapper Matt Rivers of has a free pick Monday is on Missouri (-1) to Texas.

Reasoning: Rick Barnes’ Longhorns are at home tonight and have covered some games of late including the last one in Waco against a good Baylor team but Texas is still not much more than J’Covan Brown and mediocrity and in the end that should not float in this spot. The season has not been good as Texas has not beaten anybody at all yet of note so when push comes to shove the Hook ems are no longer on the same level as this Missouri program and team.

The Tigers do their usual run and gun and press and play fast and after 40 minutes today that should just be a bit too much for the home squad. Missouri was upset at Oklahoma State last week and never came close to the cover against Texas Tech in that last game but the Tigers are still 19-2 including recently winning at Baylor and Iowa State and are a legitimate top 10-15 team in the country if not better.

Mizzou has a ton of talent and depth and can kill you in so many ways with Saunders, Ratliffe, Denmon, English, Moore and others that I am hard pressed to believe a one man gang, which UT has become, can walk off of the court as the winner, and that is what it would pretty much take in order to cover the game.

I’m not thinking blowout by any means but Missouri is the definite better team and that should be enough to get the victory.

Top expert pick on this game: Missouri

For more information: Oregon had the five point lead at the half and couldn’t close things out last night leading to an ultra-rare stumble, not the end of the world. It’s still five of six winning days, an 8-1 run in which my teams have literally covered by 70 points and now a whopping 2.3 million stars of profit in the last week. Anybody who believes that this run has ended or that I’m still not smoking hot is absurd. One 300,000* red-hot lock in the NBA is up and available involving the Thunder and Clippers. Are you ready? I know that I am! Click now to purchase
