West Virginia vs. Pittsburgh Picks and Predictions

OffshoreInsiders.com Senior Sports Handicapper Matt Rivers has a sports betting pick Friday is on West Virginia (-6.5) to Pitt.

Reasoning: The Mountaineers certainly have not lived up to the hype as the expectations were high but with Ray Graham done for the season I don’t think the visiting Panthers are going to be able to keep up.

West Virginia brought in Dana Holgerson who installed that wide open offense. Geno Smith’s numbers have gone up as the team can move up and down the field but that hasn’t resulted in a better team all that much. In that last game though the Mounties came together for a solid underdog win at Cincinnati and with two weeks to prepare for Tino Sunseri and the shorthanded visitors is nothing but a positive.

Pitt did have a fairly impressive win last week at Louisville and in fact it was their first road victory of the season. Two in a row though seems like a bit much to me without their star running back around and with West Virginia being the clear-cut superior squad. Both teams are 3-2 in the Big East and both teams also are in the hunt for the conference title. One of these squads though are legit and that’s West Virginia and to get them at home here and at what truly is a bargain basement price makes me all right with backing this chalk.

This game has 27-13 Mounties written all over it!

Top expert pick on this game: West Virginia

Forensic ATS information on this game: Feeling great as that 500,000* early release on Baltimore took care of business going away in the end. Two plays today as I continue to bury that Crookie including a second highest rated 400,000* play involving Houston and Tulsa. Can Case Keenum keep it going or will he and the Cougars come to a crashing halt? Bonus 200,000* on the big game between Arkansas and LSU. 2-0 sweep and more profit! Click now to purchase
