Free Sports Picks: Mat Latos Should be a Go-Against Tonight Senior Sports Handicapper Matt Rivers has a sports betting pick on winner is on the Chicago Cubs (+162) to San Diego.

Reasoning: I definitely admit that Mat Latos is far better than Casey Coleman but with that said do the Padres really deserve to be a big favorite? After all, San Diego stinks and is as untalented as they come. They could get shutout at anytime and against anybody.

Coleman isn’t very good but he isn’t dreadful and just had his best start of the season last time out. Today he is against a lousy lousy lineup in a spacious ballpark where runs are at a serious premium. Add in that the Cubs flat out have the better hitters with the likes of Ramirez, Pena, Soriano, Castro and a few others and at this price it’s a total no-brainer.

Fade the shades do make your man a doormat

Latos, like last season, has been once again really good after the tough first month or so in 2011. The kid can pitch and very well may throw a quality start here, if not a complete game shutout. But the Friars are fairly terrible and to get such a price back with the better team and the better offense makes me alright with backing the inferior starter and taking my chances.

For more information: Matt Rivers told you right here that the Raiders were going to win outright and that they did. The 400,000* scooping up the points cashed as did the 200,000* on the moneyline. That game alone brought in a one game record 700,000* in a day that profited 590,000*. That’s how it’s done!

Two more winners today, one from the gridiron and one on the diamond. 300,000* Redskins-Cowboys plus a bonus 200,000* Rangers-Angels. Click now to purchase
