NCAA Football Lines Betting Trends For September 3 (Part 2)

Part 1 of the NCAA Football lines spread betting trends is up and the OffshoreInsiders.com betting news and notes clipboard is forthcoming. Here is Part 2 of opening week Vegas betting trends.

All records against the spread except for when over/under is specified.

Saturday, Sept. 3

BYU vs. Mississippi

The Cougars are on a 5-0 overall run, 6-2 as favorites of three or less. The Rebels are 9-2 outside the SEC, yet 9-23 overall the last 32 in September. Ole Miss has gone over 8-2 outside conference play. Bettors have plenty of information to cheer about in college football

San Jose State vs. Stanford

The Spartans are 7-23 overall, 6-16 as an underdog. They are 2-12 their last 14 on grass. The Cardinal are 15-5 at home and have won 7-of-8 to the WAC. The favorite is 7-1 in the series. Stanford has won six straight home head-to-head clashes.

San Jose has gone under 25-11 on grass. Stanford though has gone over 8-2 at home.

Colorado State vs. New Mexico

The Rams are 7-19 on the road, including 1-9 as road favorites. Lobos are 17-8 as an underdog of 3.5-10.0. The underdog is a sensational 10-1 in the series.

CSU has gone over 10-2 as favorites. New Mexico has gone over 8-2 in conference play.

Buffalo vs. Pittsburgh

Bulls are 3-12 the last 15, 2-11 to Big East, 1-6 in September. Panthers are 7-2 as favorites, 16-7 on grass.

Buffalo has gone under 17-7 outside the conference.

South Carolina vs. East Carolina

The Pirates are 2-10 in non-conference games. ECU has gone over 8-1 in September.

Fresno State vs. California

The Golden Bears are 12-4 as a home favorite of 3.5-10.0, but 0-6 to the WAC. Cali has gone over 23-11 as home favorites.

Army vs. No. Illinois

The Black Knights are 7-1 as a road underdog. Northern Illinois is 10-1 overall, 8-1 as favorites.

NIU has gone over 6-1 as a favorite of 10.5 or more.

Rice vs. Texas

The Owls are 8-20 in their last 28 non-conference games. Longhorns are 8-3 in their last 11 vs. CUSA, but 1-6 their last seven home games.

The Owls have gone over 46-16 as an underdog and 57-19 overall, yet under 4-1 to Big 12.

Indiana vs. Ball State

The Cardinals are 3-10 on field turf. They’ve gone under 9-3 as an underdog.

Tulsa vs. Oklahoma

Golden Hurricane are 9-1 in their last 10 games overall.

Ohio vs. New Mexico State

Ohio 27-10 on grass. The Aggies are 3-14 n their last 17 home games.

Boise State vs. Georgia

Broncos are 22-10-1 in their last 33 non-conference games.

Sunday, Sept. 4

Marshall vs. West Virginia

The Thundering Herd are 16-34 on the road. Mountaineers are 1-7-1 in their last nine games as a home favorite of 10.5 or greater.

Southern Methodist vs. Texas A&M

Aggies are 6-0 vs. C-USA.

Monday, Sept. 5

Miami vs. Maryland

Hurricanes are 5-14 in their last 19 games as a favorite of 3.5-10.0.  Maryland is 6-1 overall. Miami has gone under 6-1 overall while Maryland under 6-1 as home underdogs.
