Underdog Winner Starts out Thursday Baseball Odds

OffshoreInsiders.com Senior Sports Handicapper Matt Rivers has a Thursday Major League Baseball odds pick and it is on the New York Mets (+130) against Cincinnati.

Reasoning: Why not? The Reds are morphing into a disgrace and it’s not like Homer Bailey has exactly lived up to the hype. It is without a doubt extremely difficult to sweep a four game series and will make this thing hard but to get any money with the better than expected Mets against the Reds right now is just too much.

Bailey will give up some homers says baseball expert

These New Yorkers are playing better than most people expected and trading away Carlos Beltran truly isn’t the end all. Sure the guy was solid and made the All-Star team but I’m not all in on him anymore at all. Jose Reyes is the star on New York and guys like Daniel Murphy and Angel Pagan are underrated and all right.

Chris Capuano is a solid enough left-hander who may not be what he was back from his Milwaukee days but Cincinnati has not really been hitting and their two big guns in Votto and Bruce are lefties and could be somewhat neutralized today.

I can’t say that I 100 percent trust Terry Collins’ Mets because they still aren’t a good baseball team but the Reds are fading into the abyss a bit and are a small must go against here at this price.

Top expert pick on this game: The New York Mets from Matt Rivers

For more information: Includes 2:10 ET start! Winning is great but when you do it in no-hit fashion on your lone play of the day now that is truly special! It is unfortunately the same as any other win but still extremely sweet as the bashing of the crookie continues.

900,000* 3-Pack is up and available as I have not one, not two, but three high quality 300,000* locks, Pirates-Braves, Twins-Rangers and Cubs-Brewers. Can you say 17 winning days in the last 25? I can and will! Get the pick now
