MLB Baseball Odds Preview and Prediction: Angels vs. Dodgers

The Sunday comp winner is on the LA Dodgers (-111) to the Los Angeles of Anaheim Angels. This comes Senior Sports Handicapper Matt Rivers.

Reasoning: It’s tough to sweep a team and especially so on the road. That is the situation here as the Angels took the first few games at Chavez Ravine and today attempt to bring out the broom. The problem though is that one of the best pitchers around goes for the blue in Clayton Kershaw.

Handicapper says betting against Weaver a dream

No doubt Mike Scioscia’s Halos have a great hurler themselves on the bump in Jered Weaver but to be honest with you when push comes to shove I’ll take my chances with the LA southpaw at home pretty much against anybody at a near pick. The Dodgers have struggled immensely at times and underachieve with the best of them but at home with Kershaw in trying to avoid a sweep I can’t help but back the blue at this too good of a price.

Anaheim has played well in these first few games and definitely deserved to win them. But today they are up against a superstar ace in Kershaw and in what should be a well pitched low scoring game I’m aok with the home Dodgers at this number, even up against a tough hombre in Weaver.

Both pups are in the 2:00 hour and will cash with unexpected ease before dinner time. A pair of dogs that will bark and produce a ton of more profit as the Crookie goes down one more time!
